The town of Castellanza has a population of approximately 15,000 inhabitants and since the late 1800s has been one of the main industrial centres in Lombardy.
It is in the province of Varese with the beautiful backdrop of the Alps and the famous Italian lakes of Lago Maggiore and Lago di Como, between the international airport of Malpensa and Milan.
Its railway station is on the line that connects Castellanza with Malpensa International Airport in 20 minutes and with Milan in 35 minutes. It is also just over 1 kilometre from the motorway that connects Milan to Malpensa and the Alps/lakes.
